On September 30th, 2014, at Dong Thap university, the provincial Youth Union held a meeting with religious and ethnic students studying in Dong Thap university, Community College and Medical College.
The meeting aimed to raise awareness of current economic, social, ethnic and religious situation in the Southwest region and guidelines and policies of the Party and State on religion and ethnic minorities.
At the meeting, nearly 300 students heard about the history and development of Southern region and the socio – economic situation of the Mekong Delta region; the East Sea situation, and the Party and State’s policies on religion and national unity.
