On December 14-15, Tam Nong district Security and Defense Education Council of Dong Thap province disseminated knowledge of security and defense for about 74 religious deacons in the locality.
During two-day conference, participating deacons studied on guidelines and policies of the Vietnam’ Party and State on religion and national security and defense in new situation; prevention and combat against plots abusing religion to sow division amongst Vietnamese people as well as introduction of the laws on defense, national security, military service, etc./.
