Dong Nai provincial Religious Committee reviews dissemination of religious laws at Buddhist schools

On April 27, Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held a conference to review the dissemination of religious laws program at Buddhist schools in the province.
Local officials at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Hùng, Deputy Director of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization’s Ethnic-Religion Division Trần Đức Hòa.
The events also saw participation of Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee cum President of the Buddhist School Thích Nhật Quang, Venerable Head of the college-level Buddhist Course Thích Huệ Khai, about 396 monks and nuns from the Buddhist School and Course.
During the event, the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs presented the graduation certificate of the religious laws training program to 396 monks and nuns of the Buddhist School and Course. In addition, 07 excellent monks and nuns received Certificate of Merit and gifts for their outstanding achievements in the program.

Speaking at each conference, Vice Chairman Trần Thanh Hùng thanked the provincial VBS Executive Committee and Management Boards of the Buddhist School and Buddhist Course for creating favorable conditions for local authorities to organize the program. He also urged Buddhist monks and nuns to proactively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, contributing to prosperity and development in the country.
