Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs holds a meeting with leaders of religious orders

On September 11th, 2014, at the meeting hall of its headquarters, (No. 17, Vo Thi Sau street, Quyet Thang ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province), the Dong Nai province Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with dignitaries and clergies of religious orders in the locality.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Huỳnh Văn Tịnh, Chairman of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization, Mr. Lê Đình Thảo, Vice - Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Trần Thanh Hùng, Chairman of the Dong Nai province Committee for Religious Affairs, dignitaries, clergymen and clergywomen of religious orders in the locality.

At the meeting, leaders of religious orders exchanged comments on administrative procedures in land allocation, granting of land use right certificate, building religious worshiping places, granting certificate of registration for religious activity to monasteries, congregations, religious orders and other issues related to religious activities of followers.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Huỳnh Văn Tịnh and Mr. Trần Thanh Hùng recorded comments and proposals by leaders of religious orders representing monasteries, monastic communities and congregations in the diocese of Xuan Loc and suggested that religious dignitaries will continue to guide religious clergies and followers live the "better secular and religious life", actively participate in the patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the local authorities and well implement the teachings of Pope Francis "A Vietnam Catholic must be a patriot. Vietnam Catholics must accompany the nation for building a prosperous and happy country "./.
