Dong Nai province: Trang Bom district disseminates law on election of National Assembly and People’s Councils to local religious dignitaries

A conference for dissemination of the law on election of the National Assembly’s deputies and members of People’s Councils to key religious followers in the province’s Trang Bom district was held on April 17.
The event was organized by Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affair in collaboration with Trang Bom district Home Affairs Division, and attended by nearly 200 religious dignitaries of religions in the locality.
During the conference, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs presented Trần Thanh Hùng presented the current laws on election as well as contents highlighting roles of religious organizations in the social and political in the country and results of preparation work for election of members of the National Assembly and local-level People’s Councils for the period 2016-2021.
The conference aimed to enhance religious dignitaries’ awareness of the law on election of members of the National Assembly and local-level People’s Councils for the period 2016 – 2021, in order to better encourage followers to implement their responsibilities in the election.
