The Stading Committee of Dong Nai provincial Youth Union held a seminar on the work for religious youth solidarity at 26/3 Vocational School in Bien Hoa city on Dec 10.
Attending the seminar were Vice Chairman of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Phạm Thị Kim Chung, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Hùng; Deputy Secretary of provincial Youth Union Lê Thị Ngọc Loan; Priest Lê Công Nguyên of Bui Thuong parish and more than 120 union members from localities with large members of Catholic youth.
At the seminar, participants discussed practical measures to promote unity, and encourage active participation of Catholic youth in implementation of State laws and programs for socio-economic development in the localities. Attending youth also supported the strengthening of networkings for mutual assistance and protection of legitimate interests of Catholic youth.
At the seminar, the Standing Committee of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union honored 22 Union members of ethnic minorities and 27 Union members who are religious followers.
