Attending the event were dignitaries, deacons of Catholicism and Protestantism in the locality.

Local officials at the meeting included  Mr. Trần Thanh Hùng, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, Mrs. Nguyễn Hòa Hiệp, Secretary of Thong Nhat district Party Committee.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Nguyễn Hòa Hiệp, Secretary of Thong Nhat district Party Committee extended best wishes and merry Christmas to Catholics and Protestants in the district.

During the meeting, Mr. Trần Văn Chiến, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee - Chairman of the Thong Nhat district People's Committee briefed about economic and social situation 2014 in the district and Mr. Trần Văn Hồng, Chairman of the district Vietnam Fatherland Front informed about results of the patriotic movement in Catholic and Protestant communities in the district in 2014.

Attending Catholic and Protestant dignitaries shared about religious activities of grassroots religious organizations in the district. They also raised some recommendations on issues such as traffic safety, environmental hygiene; charity; new rural construction; procedures related to land issues of religious organizations.
