A delegation of Ha Tinh province’s Huong Son district authorities led by Chairman of the district’s Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee Nguyễn Thành Đồng paid visits to local Catholic parishes, on occasion of Easter festival 2017.
The delegation visited Catholic parishes of Khe San in Son Lam commune and Kim Cuong in Son Kim 1 commune.
During the visiting receptions, while extending Easter wishes to Catholic dignitaries, deacons and followers in the locality, Chairman Nguyễn Thành Đồng praised Catholics for their practical contributions to socio-economic development in the locality.
On behalf of Kim Cuong Parish, Priest Lê Sơn took the chance to thank the district’s authorities for its support and promised to continue encouraging parishioners to promote social unity and live for “better secular and religious life”, contributing to socio-economic development in the locality.
