Ca Mau provincial Home Affairs Department held a conference on September 7 for dissemination of State’s policies and law on religion for religious dignitaries and deacons in the province.
Attending the disseminating conference included about 150 participants representing 143 local religious organizations belonging six religions of Cao Dai, Catholism, Buddhism, Hoa Hao Buddism, Protestantism and Vietnam Pure-Land Buddhist Association in the locality.
During the event, Former Director of Legislation and Inspection Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Khắc Huy presented key contents of guidelines and policies of the Party and State on belief and religion, including the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Decree No.92//2012/NĐ-CP detailing and providing measures for the implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Circular No. 01/2013/TT-BNV of Home Affairs Ministry on administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion and related laws.
The conference also explained practical issues relating to construction of worshipping facilities, land use certificates, etc.
