Dissemination of Party and State’s policies to religious and ethnic people

On August 25, at Ngoc Sac oratory (Ho Thi Ky commune, Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province) the Southwestern Steering Committee in coordination with the Central Women’s Union organized a conference for disseminating the policies of Party and State for women including religious and ethnic women in localities of Ca Mau province. 

The conference was held in the presence of Vice President of the Central Women’s Union Huỳnh Thị Hòa, Director of Security and Defense Affairs Department Nguyễn Đoàn Kết, President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Trịnh Minh Thành  

At the conference, speakers briefly introduced the history and development of the Southern region; achievements in the implementation of Conclusion 28 of the Politburo on tasks and measures to develop economy and ensure security and defense in the Southern region; ethnic and religious policies of the Party and State; strategies and action programs for ethnic affairs till 2020; responsibilities of ethnic and religious people towards the Fatherland, ethnic minorities and religion…

Through the conference, participants became more aware of the Party and State’s policies on ethnic minorities, religions and religious followers so as these ethnic and religious women can better observe the Party’s guidelines and State’ policies and laws for improving people’s life and contributing to maintain social security and order in the localities.
