Joining the delegation were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee  Trần Văn Tư, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hòa Hiệp, and representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and the provincial Military Command.

Welcoming the delegation at Xuan Loc Cathedral included the diocese Bishop Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo, Bishop Dominique Nguyễn Chu Trinh and Auxiliary Bishop John Đỗ Văn Ngân.

During the visiting reception, Lieutenant General Phạm Văn Dỹ congratulated to the new Bishop and Auxiliary Bishop of Xuan Loc diocese and praised practical contributions made by Catholic followers to the socio-economic development in the locality. He also encouarged Catholic dignitaries and followers to actively take part in social movements for community development in the locality.
