Dang Nang city authorities pay traditional New Year visits to local religious organizations

A delegation of Da Nang city authorities led by Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Phùng Tấn Viết on January 27 paid visits to religious organizations in the city ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
The delegation visited the VBS’s Executive Committee, Da Nang Diocese, Executive Committee of the Mission Caodai Church, Protestant Representative Committee of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) and the Vietnam United World Mission Church.
During the visits, Vice Chairman Phùng Tấn Viết informed religious dignitaries of results of socio-economic development in the city in 2015 and extended best wishes to local religious dignitaries and followers on occasion of traditional Tet Festival.
The Da Nang city leaders also acknowledged important roles of local religious people in consolidation of national unity, and expressed hope that they would make further practical contributions to the sustainable development in the city.
