The Political-Military Academy under Đăk Nông provincial Military Command began a conference on June 23 for disseminating knowledge of security and defense for about 80 religious dignitaries and deacons in the locality.
During four-day conference, participating dignitaries and deacons studied on guidelines and policies of the Vietnam’ Party and State on religion; responsibilities of religious dignitaries and organizations in building national security and defense; prevention and combat against plots abusing religion to sow division amongst the national unity bloc; introduction of the laws on defense, national security, land, military service... The training course aimed to raise awareness of national security and defense, and responsibilities amongst religious dignitaries in the maintenance of national security and defense in the locality./.
