On February 5, a delegation of the municipal authorities in Da Nang city paid a visit to the Missionary Caodai Church occasion of the Great Feast of the Supreme Creator (the 9th of the 1st lunar month).
The delegation was headed by Chairman of the city’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Đặng Thị Kim Liên and joint by representatives of the municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee.
During the visiting reception, Chairman Đặng Thị Kim Liên praised the Caodai Church for its practical contributions to socio-economic development of the city over the years, and expressed her hope that the Caodai Church’s dignitaries, deacons and followers would continue participating in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, contributing to build a prosperous and peaceful city of Da Nang.
The Great Feast of the Supreme Creator and the Dieu Tri Goddess festival annually held on the 15th of the 8th lunar month are two most important events for Caodai believers.
