The religious committee for religious affairs in Ha Tinh province held on July 13 a conference on the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree No. 162 for commune-level officials in the province.
The event was attended by 230 participants who are heads of commune-level people’s committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s boards and police units in the province.
During the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân, former Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Senior Lecturer of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration introduced new contents of the law on belief and religion as well as the government Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new belief and religious law.
