Nam Dinh provincial government held on June 14 a conference for the implementation of the Law of Belief and Religion for provincial-level officials in the locality.
Attending the conference are key cadres from concerning departments and district authorities in the province.
During the event, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn presented key contents regarding the law on belief and religion, including the necessity and fundamental principles for the enactment of the law, as well as new contents of the law for better respecting and guaranteeing everyone’s right to freedom of belief, religion in Vietnam.

After the conference, according to a working plan by Nam Dinh provincial government, Nam Dinh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs will organize meetings for dissemination of the law to followers of religions in the locality, with a view to ensure the law strictly implemented when it take effect from January 1 2018.
