Con Se parish in Quang Loc commune, Quang Binh province’s Ba Don district is one of areas most affected by marine environmental incident last year.
In order to help Con Se parishioners overcome difficulties, Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Women Union’s Standing Board and Post Office co-supported and funded the establishment of a group of kitting fishing nets in the parish with the aim to create job and raise income for local women.
The group was formally established on July 6, 2017 with 20 members who had experiences on knitting nets.
Started with a funding support of 150 million VND, the group will organize training skills, buy equipments, make fishing nets and promote the selling of products in the market, etc.
