From December 15-16, a delegation from the Central Highlands Steering Committee visited Catholic and Protestant organizations in Lam Dong province ahead of the Christmas Festival 2016.
The delegation was led by Commissioner of the Committee Y Thông and joint by officials from the Committee and Lam Dong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
During the Christmas visits, the delegation met with dignitaries from Dalat Diocese, Dalat Don Bosco Order and the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) and extended Christmas wishes to Christian dignitaries and followers in the province. Commissioner Y Thông also took the occasion to ask religious dignitaries to further encourage local Christian believers to actively participate in social activities and promote fine traditions for social development in the locality.
