A group of Catholic women set up for boosting “better religious and secular life” in Tay Ninh province’s Chau Thanh district made its debut at a meeting held on April 20.
The set up of the women group aims to encourage local Catholic women to unite, help each other and actively participate in charitable activities for improving the spiritual and material life of women, children and Catholic women facing difficulties in the district.
The group, supported by Chau Thanh district’s Women Union and voluntarily joint by 22 members, will also engage in the women union’s activities for disseminating State’s policies and laws, and encouraging local women to proactively participate in social programs and movements for socio-economic development in the locality.
