Easter festival is one of major annual events of Catholics and Protestants, and this year’s festival will take place on April 5, 2015.
On the occasion of this year Easter festival, Can Tho city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in collaboration with the city’s authorities and religious organizations of Hoa Hao Buddhism, Catholicism, Caodaism and the Pure-Land Buddhists Association organized a delegation visit to Catholic and Protestant establishments in the locality from March 30 to April 1.
Speaking at visiting receptions, Mr. Mai Văn Sáu, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee extended Easter wishes to Christian dignitaries, deacons and followers and encouraged them to live for “better secular and religious life” and make practical contributions to the socio-economic development in the city.
