Can Tho city disseminates laws on traffic safety to religious dignitaries, deacons

On July 24, Can Tho city’s Committee for Traffic Safety in collaboration with the city’s Committee for Religious Affairs organized a disseminating conference on traffic safety to dignitaries and deacons of religions in the city. 

The conference held at Long Quang Pagoda in the city’s Binh Thuy district was attended by about 400 religious dignitaries and deacons.

During the conference, the city’s Committee for Traffic Safety disseminated on Decree 46/2016/NĐ-CP of the Government on penalties for road administrative traffic offences and rail transport offences, which will take effect on August 1, 2016. 

According to Vice Chairman of Can Tho city’s Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Ngọc Hà, the disseminating conference aimed to promote roles of religious dignitaries and deacons in the traffic safety propaganda, contributing to ensure traffic safety in the locality.
