On April 18, a delegation of Can Tho city authorities led by Vice Chairman of the city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Đinh Trung Trực paid Easter visits to Christians organizations in the city.
The delegation visited Catholic establishments including Can Tho diocese office, Can Tho Deanery, Long Xuyen diocese office, Vinh An and Vinh Thanh deaneries (Vinh Thanh district), Bo Ot parish and Catholic orders of Lovers of the Holy Cross, Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul and Daughters of Our Lady.
The delegation also visited and met with Bishop of Long Xuyen diocese Bùi Tuần, the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South)’s Representative Committee in Can Tho city and Vietnam General Baptist Church (Grace Southern)’s Representative Committee.
During the visiting receptions, while extending Easter wishes to Catholics and Protestants in the locality, Vice Chairman Đinh Trung Trực spoke highly of practical contributions of Christians in social and charitable activities in the locality.
