Ca Mau provincial authorities leader extends Buddha Birthday greetings to local Buddhists

On May 19, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau provincial People’s Committee Trần Hồng Quân led a delegation to visit to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee at Phat To Pagoda in Ca Mau city on occasion of the Buddha Birthday Festival 2016 – B.E 2560.
Joining the delegation included Chairman of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Lê Dũng and representatives from Home Affairs Department.
Venerable Chairman of the VBS Executive Committee Thích Huệ Thành and local VBS dignitaries welcomed the delegation.
During the visiting reception, Vice Chairman Trần Hồng Quân extended best wishes to local Buddhist dignitaries and followers on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday Festival 2016 and praised the local VBS for their practical contributions in the cause of building and developing the country.
