On July 29, Chairman of Ca Mau provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Huỳnh Ngọc Sang received delegates of the 3rd General Congress of the Vietnam Baptist Church (Southern) residing in the province.
In the 3rd general congress of the Vietnam Baptist Church (Southern), Ca Mau province has 76 delegates representing 1,000 followers of the Church, with three delegates nominated as candidates for the new executive committee of the Church in the new term.
On behalf of the delegation, Pastor Huỳnh Bá Thành Vice President of the Church cum Head of Representative Committee of the Vietnam Baptist Church in Ca Mau took the chance to thank the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs for its welcome and shared with the hosts the preparation for upcoming general congress of the Vietnam Baptist Church (Southern).
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Huỳnh Ngọc Sang expressed hope that the Vietnam Baptist Church in Ca Mau province would continue to make practical contributions in social and charitable activities and proactively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched by local authorities for the social-economic development in the locality.
