Ca Mau province: Kinh Nuoc Len parish celebrates 30th anniversary

A ceremony to celebrate the 30th founding anniversary of Kinh Nuoc Len parish was solemnly held on August 8 at Kinh Nuoc Len church in Nam Can district, Ca Mau province.

The event were presided by priest Dominic Châu Hoàng Ngọc and attended by priest Carolo Hồ Bặc Xái, Vicar general of Can Tho diocese; priest Nguyễn Văn Vinh, Head of Ca Mau vicariate cum Chairman of Ca Mau provincial Vietnam Committee for Solidarity of Catholics, Catholic dignitaries from several parishes in the province; representatives of Ca Mau provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and over 500 Catholics in the locality.

Kinh Nuoc Len parish was established in 1985. Its modern and spacious church was rebuilt in 2003. For recent years, dignitaries and followers of Kinh Nuoc Len parish have actively joint in many social and charitable activities, including presenting scholarship to poor pupils, providing rice and charitable houses for elderly…, with a contribution worth hundreds of millions VND per year.
