Over the past years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s committee in Quang Binh province has paid due attention to build cultural centers and charitable houses for poor people in Catholic communities in the province.
For the past years, the provincial VFF has closely coordinated with local authorities and social-political organizations and the pastoral council of parishes in identifying practical needs for building and repairing cultural centers as well as degraded houses in most disadvantaged Catholic-concentrated areas.
So far, the provincial VFF’s committee has submitted to competent authorities a plan for building 9 cultural centers and 17 charitable houses for the poor in disadvantaged Catholic-concentrated areas in districts of Bo Trach, Quang Trach, Tuyen Hoa and Ba Don.
