On occasion of the traditional New Year - Chol Chnam Thmay festival, the Binh Phuoc provincial authorities visited and presented gifts to Khmer communities in the locality on April 14-16.
Binh Phuoc provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee and Committee for Ethnic Affairs organized delegation visits to four Khmer pagodas of Soc Lon in Loc Khanh and Loc Hung in Loc Ninh district, Bo De in Chon Thanh district and Sareyvonsa in Dong Xoai provincial city.
At visiting destinations, the provincial leaders extended best wishes to Khmer communities and presented gifts to 90 Khmer poor families in the locality. They also called on Khmer people to promote their cultural identity and make practical contributions to the socio-economic development in the locality.
