Binh Duong province: Religious Affairs Committee extends visits to religious dignitaries on occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

A delegation from Binh Duong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs has paid visits to religious dignitaries who are under care by the state policy for war invalids, martyrs and people with special contribution to the country in the locality, on occasion of the threshold of the 69 War Invalids and Martyrs Day ( July 27, 1947).

The delegation led by Chairman of the Committee Trần Đức Thịnh visited Venerable Abbot of Di Da (Amitabha) Pagoda Thích Huệ Trung whose father was Martyr Huỳnh Văn Lũy – late Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Pastor Superintendent of Bach Dang Protestant Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) whose son Nguyễn Văn Long was also a fallen solder.

During the visits, Chairman Trần Đức Thịnh spoke highly of contributions by  religious dignitaries’ relatives and the dignitaries themselves to the country in the cause of national unification, construction and defense. He also urged dignitaries to further promote fine traditions for a better secular and religious life.
