As many as 200 cadres in Tan Uyen district of Binh Duong province attended a training conference on cultural and religious affairs held on May 23.
Participants of the event organized by the district People’s Committee were key members of the campaign “All people unite to build cultural lifestyle” and from 12 communes and 71 villages in the district.
During the event, participating delegates heard about Government regulations on management and organization of festivals, the implementation of an advanced lifestyle in weddings and funerals, as well as the relevant documents of local authorities relating the cultural campaign.
The event also covered current practices of worship, the state administration on belief and religion in Binh Duong province, as well as new worshipping phenomena, including “Kuman Thong doll” and other superstition activities.
