Attending the event included representatives of Ben Tre provincial VFF Committee, Religious Affairs Committee and 95 religious dignitaries from the organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodai sects (the Correct-Path Caodai Church, the Ante-Creation Caodai Church, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, the Vietnam Caodai Church and the Verity Caodai Church), Hoa Hao Buddhist Church, Pure Land Buddhism Home-Practice Association, and indigenous religions of Tứ Ân Hiếu Nghĩa and Bửu Sơn Kỳ Hương.

During the event, representatives of the provincial VFF Committee introduced contents of the resolution of the 10^th provincial Party Congress (2015-2020 tenure), which include implementation of the Party’ guidelines and policies and State's laws on religion for ensuring people’s right to freedom of belief and religion and strengthening the national unity bloc; promotion of emulation movements amongst religious communities for socio-economic development, enhancing roles of religious organizations in social, charitable activities, environmental protection…
