On Sept. 14, the Southwest Steering Committee in collaboration with Ben Tre provincial Party Committee held a conference for propagation of Southern region’s history amongst local religious and ethnic people.
Attending the conference included Vice Chairman of the Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Trần Quang Diên, Vice Chairman of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Bùi Văn Chương, representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and about 150 religious and ethnic people in the locality.
At the event, Mr. Bùi Văn Chương shared with the participants on the history and culture of the ethnic groups in the Southern region. He also informed the socio-economic development in the first six-month, implementation results of policies on ethnic minorities and religious followers./.
