On November 3, the Security and Defense Education Council of Ben Tre province held a seminar for disseminating knowledge of security and defense for Caodai dignitaries in the locality.
The four-day training contents encompassed guidelines and policies of the Vietnam’ Party and State on building national security and defense as well as responsibility of dignitaries and religious organizations; guidelines and policies of the Party and State on religion including the Decree No. 92/2012/ND-CP dated 11/8/2012 of the Government detailing and providing measures for implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, the Prime Minister’s Instruction 1940/CT-TTg dated December 31, 2008 on religion-related land and housing; the socio-economic situation in the locality and the national sovereignty over Vietnam’s seas and islands.
The training course aimed to raise awareness and responsibility of Caodai dignitaries in protecting political security and social order in localities, contributing to maintain the national unity and stability.
