Bac Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee held a conference on September 14 to disseminate religious policies and laws to Buddhist dignitaries in the locality.
Attending the conference included Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyễn Văn Hùng, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Đinh Xuân Vịnh, Most Venerable Deputy Patriarch of the VBS Discernment Council Thích Thanh Sam, Venerable Chairman of Bac Ninh provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Thanh Phụng, and over 400 Buddhist dignitaries in the locality.
During the conference, Buddhist dignitaries learnt about the Party’s renovated policies on religious affairs, legal documents on belief and religion and the coordination program between Bac Ninh provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the provincial VBS Executive Committee for the 2015-2019 period.
