Attending the event included Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial Steering Committee of Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hữu Quất, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Tiến Nhường.

It’s reported that, in 2015, the steering committee on religious affairs at provincial level and district level stepped up religious trainings for local officials and conducted inspection of religious laws implementation in 16 communes in the province’s 8 districts, towns and cities.

As approved at the conference, the working plan 2016 would focus on disseminating view points, policies of the Party and State on belief and religion, raising the effectiveness of the State administration on religious affairs and mobilizing religious followers to proactively participate in movements for “better religious and secular life” and the socio-economic development in the locality.
