On May 15, Bac Giang provincial Home Affairs Department held a conference to review religious affairs in the first five months, and approve the working plan for the last seven months.
The conference was chaired by Deputy Director of Home Affairs Department Khuông Văn Thông and attended by provincial and district-level officials working on state religious affairs.
At the conference, delegates discussed results of the first five-month work of the State management on religion in the province and mapped out the working plan for the last seven months which includes survey of religious dignitaries, deacons, facilities in the locality.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Director Khuông Văn Thông highlighted the department’s achievements and requested the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and districts’ Home Affairs Office to concentrate on key tasks set out for last seven months of 2015, as well as enhance professional knowledge and skills on religious affairs work for meeting practical requirements of the state sector on religious affairs.
