On July from 29 to 31, 2014, at the Bac Giang province’s Political College, Department of Home Affairs organized a state’s administration training course on religious affairs for local officials in the province.
Participating in the training course were 255 local officials who are Vice-Chairmen of the People’s Committees of towns, communes and wards in the locality, Head of the Office of Home Affairs of districts and officials working on religious affairs in related agencies in the province.
At the training course, participants learnt about guidelines, policies of the Party and State on religion including: Resolution 25-NQ/TW dated March 12, 2003, of the Party Central Committee IX on religious affairs; Decree No. 92/2012/ND-CP dated November 8, 2012 detailing and providing measures for the implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion; Instruction No. 01/2005/CT-TTg dated February 4th, 2005 of the Prime Minister on some tasks regarding Protestantism; Instruction 1940/CT- TTg dated December 31, 2008, of the Prime Minister on religion-related land and housing; and the Ministry of the Interior’s Circular 01/2013/TT-BNV dated March 25, 2013 on guidance of forms and administrative formalities related to beliefs and religions.
This training course helped participants to improve their religion-related knowledge in order to advise and handle religious issues within their competence, and enhance efficiency in the state’s administration on religious affairs in the coming time.
