An Giang provincial Home Affairs Department opened a religious training on November 24 for local cadres in the province’s Tan Chau district.
Attending the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Nguyên Châu and over 70 local officials who are heads of villages in Tan Chau district.
The training will be held in three days with contents covering the State laws on belief and religion, the State administration on belief and religion, the mobilization work for religious followers to implement grassroots democracy and live “better religious and secular life”, as well as duties, responsibilities of local public servants…
The training conference aimed to enhance local officials and public servant’s understanding on religion and State religious policies and laws, contributing to ensure security and socio-economic development in the locality.
