The Women Union Association of Quang Binh province’s Ba Don provincial city held a ceremony for launching the program “Good life - good religion”.
The program drew the participation of 60 members who are Catholics living in Ngoai Hai residential area run by a five-member management board.
The program aims to enhance efficiency of women affairs of the women association in Catholic communities, as well as better encourage religious women in the locality to practically contribute to socio-economic development and the strengthen of national unity.
At the event program, members approved the operating regulation and contents set for developing communities without violators and social evils, no domestic violence, no discharging of garbage and wastewater to the streets, etc.
Every month, the program’s management board will organize cultural exchanges on issues closely associated with the purpose and contents of the program.
