On a working trip to Ba Ria- Vung Tau province, Vice Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Bùi Thị Thanh visited and met on December 5 with several Catholic dignitaries in the province.
The VFF Vice Chairwoman visited and met with Priest Member of the Presidium cum Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the VFF Giuse Nguyễn Văn Hậu and Priest Chairman of the VFF provincial Committee Giuse Trần Văn Cử.
During the visit reception, Vice Chairwoman Bùi Thị Thanh hailed the role of the two priests in uniting parishioners to contribute to the development of the locality and the country. On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas and New Year 2017, the Vice Chairwomen also extended wishes of peace and happiness to Catholic dignitaries and followers in the province in the holiday season.
She also took the chance to call on priests to continue encouraging Catholic followers in the province to actively participate in socio-economic movements launched by local authorities, contributing to the development of VFF and consolidation of the great national unity bloc.
