From March 3-9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Quang Binh province extended visits to eight priests in charge of Catholic parishes and congregations in the province’s districts of Tuyen Hoa, Quang Trach Bo Trach and Ba Don.
Joining the visits included representatives of the committee for solidarity of Catholics in the province and authorities of the four districts.
During the visiting receptions the representative leaders of the VFF committee in the province exchanged with Catholic dignitaries on the material and religious life of Catholic followers in localities. They also asked priests in charge of Catholic parishes and congregations to closely work with local authorities and encourage followers to proactively take part in social programs and movements launched by the provincial VFF for promoting unity and sustainable development in Quang Binh province.
