The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Binh Phuoc province held on May 11 an exchange meeting with key religious and prestigious people among ethnic minorities in Bu Dang district.

Present at the event included Chairwoman of the provincial VFF Lê Thị Xuân Trang, representatives of concerning local authorities and key religious, village elders and prestigious people amongst ethnic minorities in the province.
Bu Dang district currently has 34 ethnic groups, accounting for more than 40% of the district population.

During the gathering, participating religious dignitaries and prestigious people in the district raised their comments on practical issues relating to the land allocated to local residents; the health insurance card for people from poor and near-poor households; reducing fees for children of ethnic minorities; and finding outputs for agricultural products, etc.
