The Steering Board on Human Rights in Dak Lak province in collaboration with the office of the Government’s Human Rights Steering Committee held on December 22 an online conference for review and training of human rights affairs for key local personnel tasked with human rights affairs in the province.

The event saw the presence of Major General Nguyễn Văn Kỷ, Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Government's Human Rights Steering Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and about 760 local cadres tasked with human rights affairs from provincial departments and district offices in the locality.
Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyễn Văn Kỷ asked Dak Lak authorities to well implement the Party’s and the State guidelines and policies on social welfare and freedom of religion, as well as solve practical issues relating to religion, land and other social aspects of local residents, especially people of ethnic minority communities.
