Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân speaks at the conference

The event drew the participation of members of the provincial and district-level religious affairs steering bodies and cadres from the Fatherland Front Committee and concerning authorities in the province.

During the event, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics conveyed topics of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion, Decree No.95/2023/NĐ-CP dated December 29, 2023 detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Belief and Religion 2016, and experiences in solving practical issues related to religion.

Earlier, the provincial Department of Home Affairs in collaboration with the People's Committee of Phu Ly city organized on May 24 a training conference on law dissemination and professional skills for cadres and servants tasked with belief and religious affairs at the commune-level in the city.

The one -day training provided key contents of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion, prevention and handling of unlawful religious activities, and the organization of festivals at belief worshipping places in the locality.
