The Central Party Commission for Mass Mobilization meets with religious deputies

Chairwoman of the Central Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Trương Thị Mai chaired on November 8 a meeting with religious dignitaries who are deputies of the XIV National Assembly.

Joining the meeting included Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children Phan Thanh Bình and Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà.

While acknowledging practical contributions made by religious deputies, Chairwoman Trương Thị Mai hoped that the religious dignitaries would continue valuably commenting on religious and socio-economic issues, promoting their roles in the National Assembly.

During the meeting, religious dignitaries thanked the Party and State for favorable conditions extended to practices of religions over the past years and pledged to do their best for dissemination of state policies and laws, including the new Law on belief and religion, to religious followers.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà also took the chance to update on the draft decrees for detailing and providing measures for the implementation of Law on Belief and Religion and sanctions for administrative violation of the religious law.
