Thai Binh authorities held on December 24 a year-end meeting to review performances of the steering committee for religious affairs and human rights in 2019.
The event was chaired by Deputy Secretary of Thai Binh provincial Party’s Committee Ngô Đông Hải.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary Ngô Đông Hải spoke highly of results of the state governance on belief and religion and human rights affairs in the 2019. For the working plan in 2020, he stressed the need for strict implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and timely addressing practical issues related to belief and religion in the locality, contributing to ensuring social stability and sustainable development in the province.
Presenting certificates of merit to individuals
On the occasion, six individuals were presented with certificates of recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs for their outstanding contributions in religious affairs in 2019.
