A ceremony held on April 9 for inaugurating Temple of Martyrs located in Dong Nai province’s Xuan Loc district, on occasion of the 46th anniversary of Xuan Loc Liberation Day.
Participating at the event included Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Nguyễn Phú Cường, heads of the provincial and district authorities, and large numbers of locals.
Performing incense offering at the temple
The construction of Temple of Martyrs on 21,000 m2 area of land in Xuan Loc district was started in February 2020 with the total investment at nearly 40 billion VND from the state budget and sponsors. The construction included the triple entrance, a main footpath, a worshipping courtyard, a main worshipping hall, and a lake of lotus.
Before the inauguration ceremony, Xuan Loc district authority held a requiem for the spiritual uplifting of 559 fallen soldiers whose bodies were buried in the martyrs' temple in the district.
