Strengthening protection & promotion of intangible heritage in Tay Ninh

The provincial government of Tay Ninh has issued a plan for protecting and promoting values of national intangible heritages in the province.  

According to the plan set for 2019-2025, the concerning provincial authorities will develop a specific preservation and promotion plan for each of national-recognized intangible heritages in the locality, including Linh Son Mother Goddess Festival, Ky Yen Festival, Chhay-Dam Drum Dancing, dew-soaked rice paper cake of Trang Bang, etc.

In particular, worshipping festivals listed as national heritages, including Linh Son Mother Goddess and Ky Yen festivals, will be kept its traditional features and enlarged in scales, as well as printed in DVD for better preservation and introduction to the public.

Other appropriate activities for preservation and promotion of these national heritages will include the opening of exhibitions, training workshops, and public events for better introduction of the heritages and their values.

The plan is aimed at better preserve national intangible heritages in Tay Ninh, as well promote values of these heritages for socio-economic development in the province.
