The steering committee for religious affairs in Bac Kan province held on July 9 a meeting to review its activities in the first half of the year and approved working plans for the last six months of 2018.
The event was chaired by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Hoàng Duy Chinh.
As reported at the event, in the first six months, local authorities paid due attention to religious affairs in the province in order to timely meet legitimate needs of religious practices of people according to state laws.
Regarding key tasks in the second half of the year, the steering committee stressed the need to ensure the dissemination and implementation of the new Law on Belief and Religion in the locality.
