Social charities during Religious Women Day in Ho Chi Minh City

The Religious Women Day in Ho Chi Minh City has been highly commended by the municipal Women Union.

It’s a connecting network of religious women of Buddhism, Catholicism, Caodaism, etc for upholding unity and mutual support in the city. 

Launched in 2007, the religious women Day has been held biannually (six times so far) with the participation of 432 women from religious organizations in the city, and gathered contributions of over two billion VND for supporting the disadvantaged in several locality in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc.

The held religious women program featured various social activities, including free haircuts, presentations of gifts to the poor, art performances, as well as exchanges of experiences in social actions by religious women.
