The event was held by the Center for Conservation and Development of Theatrical Art of Vietnam, on occasion of the 63th founding anniversary of the Association of Vietnamese Theater Artists (1957 - 2020) and the fifth anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Vietnam Mother Goddess Worship of Three Realms as the representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of humanity.

The two-day festival featured many unique performances of trance rituals by many folk artists and worshipping mediums in the provinces of Northern Delta.

The annual festival aims to honor folk artists and worshipping medium for their outstanding contributions in preserving and promoting the cultural value of Vietnam Mother Goddess Worship.
